THE COSTUME VAULT IS OPEN

Our Costumes from the Vault collection are filled with beautiful dance costumes collected and cared for throughout the years. Each piece has been professionally cleaned and carefully maintained season after season. Many are custom or semi-custom designs, and some have never even seen the stage — they have only been tried on! These costumes are available exclusively for photo sessions, giving dancers the opportunity to try something completely different, create a new character, and have fun bringing their vision to life.

Every costume is:

  • Professionally cleaned and carefully maintained between photo shoots and sessions

  • Typically worn for only 20–30 minutes during a session

  • Worn with appropriate undergarments or dancewear

  • Stored in clean garment bags

  • Carefully inspected before and after every use

  • Available in a variety of sizes, colors, styles, and designs

  • Available in select options for duos, trios, and groups

  • Paired with appropriate tights, bodysuits, booty shorts, Spanx, sports bras, or other dancewear when appropriate

Our accessory collection gives dancers the opportunity to add a little sparkle, personality, and magic to their session. Depending on the look you are creating, available accessories may include:

  • Disposable or one-time-use hair brushes

  • Hair spray and holding products

  • Hair and body glitter in a variety of colors

  • One-time-use face gems

  • Flower crowns

  • Jeweled crowns

  • Rhinestone bun pins and decorative clips

  • Various costume appliqués

  • Rhinestone chokers

  • Additional seasonal and specialty accessories

It is more than fabric, sparkle, color, or rhinestones. It is the moment our dancers and performers look in the mirror and begin to see themselves not just as a dancer or performer, but as the beautiful and STRONG person you have been working so hard to become day in and day out! Because costumes eventually get packed away. Leotards are outgrown. Rhinestones fall off. Seasons come to an end. But that photograph can remain.

WE WANT YOU OR YOUR DANCER TO FEEL CONFIDENT & BEAUTIFUL

Suddenly, the shoulders lift a little higher. The smile comes a little easier. Then the dancer begins to move differently. They feel beautiful. They feel strong. They feel confident. Some dancers will not have the opportunity to put on and dance or compete in a high end dance costume with all the rhinestones and gems, we want to give you that opportunity to truly feel like the special and beautiful performer you are.

Our job is to create photographs that allow the dancer to see the beauty & STRENGTH that were already there.

When our dancers feels comfortable in their costume, comfortable in front of the camera, and confident in their own skin, the magic happens naturally. Their personality shines through. Their movement becomes bigger. Their expressions become genuine. And suddenly, we aren’t simply photographing a costume or a pose. We’re capturing a moment when they believed in themselves.

A dance photo shoot should be a place where everyONE feels comfortable being themselves, celebrating the body that allows them to move, and feeling proud of everything they have accomplished. They should never feel like they need to look a certain way, pose a certain way, or change themselves to be worthy of beautiful photographs.

Our job is not to make a dancer fit the photograph.

Our job is to create photographs that allow the person in front of the camera to see the beauty within them.

Because costumes eventually get packed away. Leotards are outgrown. Rhinestones fall off. Seasons come to an end.

But that photograph can remain.

Years from now, they can look back and remember exactly how it felt to put on that costume, stepped in front of the camera, and think:

“I feel beautiful. I feel strong. I feel confident. I was…no I AM a dancer (performer, gymnast, etc).”

And that is the feeling worth capturing.
