We invite you & your beloved furry friends/pets to join us on October 17th at Nippersink Park for a special photo fundraiser to support Pixie’s service dog training. This series of fundraisers is also to raise funds for Fee’s ongoing medical needs & upcoming move while also bringing awareness to the service & therapy animal community. October’s theme is “Pumpkins N’ Puppies!” We will have pumpkins, fun halloween/fall themed decor for your use (your choice!) Fun props, blankets, signs, accessories, magic and of course glitter.

ALL fundraiser sessions include:

A 20 minute session for your furry friend(s) and anyone else (limit of 6) who would like to participate! If you just want some new photos of your furry family members, want a nice family photo with them included, just got a new puppy and need new photos, or would like a memorial session done- or just something fun- we got you covered!

30-40 high resolution color & B&W “Digital Pix” with printing rights
A shareable album/page on the site for family & friends
For session donations over $300 you will also recieve a 20x30 collage from your session & a Pixie Stuffy of your choice
A surprise themed item for each furry friend from Pixie
A special fall themed gift bag for every human participant
Light refreshments
If you would like to add on a Pixie stuffy or support shirt, please be sure to book your slot by October 1st so your items arrive in time! (All pieces will have a suggested donation amount that can be added onto your donation payment towards your session!)

Please note that any family who refers a friend who books a slot for the fundraiser- will get their choice of a complimentary 45 minute “Love is in the Air” (February) or “Spring Has Sprung” (May) themed session in 2027!

FAQ AND OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

What should we wear? - Wear whatever you are comfortable in or that goes along with the theme of the session. This session is about strength, family, love, color, tie dye, magic, and good vibes! They are YOUR photos and therefore we want you to look and feel your best!

What if it rains on the day of the event?- We will be watching the weather closely as we near the session date, weather can change quickly. Overcast skies are great to shoot in (sometimes even better than on a bright sunny day!) If we need to use our rain date (the following day- Sunday September 13th you will know before 10pm on Friday evening.

What if we can’t make it to the rain date?- No worries- your donation/reserved slot can be moved to one of the upcoming sessions for any of the 2026 or 2027 fundraisers.

I’ve seen some really cute hair accessories and pieces in your gallery, can we use them? Are they extra? And can we change clothing?
No! Nothing is extra. Unlimited outfits and poses are included with every session (but please note this is a mini session so time is tighter with multiple changes!) To make it extra fun we will have a lot of fun props, accessories for both humans and pets, blankets, setups, and pet outfits for you to use and enjoy! Feel free to bring your own props if you would like to as well.

Can I only bring a dog? What if we have a cat or other small pet we’d like to join us?- ALL pets as long as they are healthy, friendly towards our volunteers, strangers who may be walking the trails, well mannered, and love to be pet! (LOL) All pets must be on a leash, in a carrier, or in a ventilated/air conditioned car when not being actively photographed.

Can you come take photos of my horse(s) at my home or boarding facility ?- YES! I can come do a mini session event at your boarding facility or private residence to capture some special moments between you and your horse. I ask for a minimum of 2 horses to be photographed and a minimum of 2 owners to be able to make coming out to your facility work well and more efficiently. However, if you get a bigger group together I can accommodate up to 15 owners/horses for the 20 minute mini sessions for your barn and all your friends! As with all the sessions- sessions are by donation only. I can also do private one on one sessions on a case by case basis. Please reach out directly so we can talk more!

We have multiple pets, can they all participate? We welcome all of your beloved family members to join us (Max 4) (as long as they get along and are okay being around one another. Due to safety and insurance purposes- only Felicia (the main photographer) can assist with moving and guiding your pets into different props/positions/help maintain behavior- but the sole responsibility will be on the owner to make sure their pet is well mannered and knows when have had enough, need a break, or something needs to be modified.

Can I bring snacks to encourage poses and to get all the shots we are hoping for? Of course! Just make sure you take them home with you post session, just in case there are pets who are allergic.

My pet has passed, can I do a memorial session?- We are so sorry for the loss of your pet(s) but would be honored to help capture your never ending love through Pics for Pix. We ask that you please bring a large framed photo of your pet(s) and any other special items you may have kept to remember them by. All memorial sessions will be getting a special gift as our way of paying tribute to your furry friend.

Instead of doing a session with my family, can my friend and I do photos together with our pets?- Yes! Furry friendship sessions are so much fun and more than welcome. Please note that a donation would need to be made by each participant in the session and could not be combined. Because of time- we have a maximum of 4 friend/pets for a mini session (and would encourage you to book one of the later night sessions to accommodate the extra shooting required with 4 pairs vs 1 family or owner.)

We cannot make the event, but still want to support Pixie’s training and Fee’s medical expenses, can we buy a shirt? Yes! Please fill out the form below and indicate you’re only buying apparel and it will be promptly mailed to you once orders come in! All shirts also come with something special from Pixie. Payments can be made directly through the Go Fund Me or by Zelle or by check.

We want tp help give back through the fundraisers, but feel our pet/Family would do better in our own yard/home and or at a different location. would you be willing to Ioffer any private sessions?

YES! We want everyone to be able to get their photos and be able to have these special captured memories (while helping our cause), even if it’s in your own backyard. Felicia will travel up to 10 miles from 60004 for a “Private Pics with Pix” session. The only difference would be due to the nature of it being private and with travel costs etc. sessions are 40 minutes vs 20 with 40-50 photos. You will also get your choice of a complimentary Pixie Stuffed animal, a 20x30 collage, or your choice of 1 complimentary apparel or pet item. (We ask for a minimum of a $300 donation for a private session) When doing your donation towards a private session please keep in mind gas/travel, the custom nature of your session, and the larger package.

How much is an appropriate donation towards a session?

All donations are appreciated as we understand- everyone is at a different place where they are able to give. (We ask for a minimum $100 donation to reserve your slot), although you can visit this page to see what the equivalent session price would be if paying in full.

Private Pixie Parties!

We have a lot of friends with pets and would love to support in the form of a private Pics for Pix Painting Party. Is that possible?!

YES! Think of all of the fun best friend sessions you may have seen on social media, or have done them yourselves and how much fun it is to match up and just have fun with your best friends! A Pics for Pix Painting Party is just that- but with a lot more chaos, candid’s, and fun! Each owner would get their own digital package with 40-50 photos, a besties hardcover book featuring all of your parties photos (around 100), a white shirt with your pets paw prints painted on them, and a white bandana for the pets to paint/leave their paw prints on for one another. A friendship making station for you and all your human guests with a few other party surprises are also included. Pet themed goodie bags will go home with all party attendee’s also. Photos will consist of candid’s, posed portraits, owner and pet shots, the paw printing experiencing, and everything in between. Minimum 6 pets, maximum 15. Parties are NOT drop off event’s- owners need to be in attendance throughout the entire duration of the event (and we’d encourage each party pet/owner to each come in a different color to coordinate colors/outfits to make it even more fun when the paw print painting begins! Parties can take place in your own backyard or home, a rented pavillion/party space/ or park area, or any place that allows pets (most importantly got dogs ) These can be hosted all year long and can be used for your pets birthday, adoption celebration, graduation from a training program, or just for pure fun! (Minimum $85 donation per pet for a 3 hour party.) Owners are free, unless they want to purchase an item from the shop beforehand.
